Sun Stand Still

If you're not daring to believe God for the impossible, you may be sleeping through the best parts of your Christian life.
"This book is not a snuggie. The words on these pages will not go down like Ambien. I'm not writing to calm  or coddle you. With God's help, I intend to incite a riot in your mind. Trip your breakers and turn out the lights in your favorite hiding places of insecurity and fear. Then flip the switch back on so that God's truth can illuminate the divine destiny that may have been lying dormant inside you for years. In short, I'm out to activate your audacious faith. To inspire you to ask God for the impossible. And in the process, to reconnect  you with your God-sized purpose and potential." -Steven Furtick
"Pastor Steven Furtick is not normal. The incredible move of God at Elevation Church is not normal. Unfortunately, audacious faith is also not normal. I don't know anyone better positioned to challenge you to rise above mundane living and embrace faith-filled audacity than Steven Furtick. Sun Stand Still is a call for us to live with such audacious faith that people like Pastor Steven and churches like Elevation become the norm rather than the exception." -Craig Groeschel, senior pastor, LifeChurch.tv

"Steven Furtick is one of the freshest and most challenging voices in the church today. In Sun Stand Still, he calls all of us to stop merely believing God can do the impossible and instead start expecting him to. This is a must-read for every Christian."  -Johnny Hunt, senior pastor, First Baptist Church, Woodstock Georgia

A Royal Duty.. Paul Burell

"You are the captain of my ship-I am safe with you at the helm." Diana, Princess of Wales to Paul Burell
I just want to start out saying that this book is a great read. I have personally read it a couple of months ago and I highly recommend it. If you were a fan of Princess Diana, you really need to read this. Honestly one of the best books I've read in awhile. -Becky Jurca

Paul Burell-butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, and the man she called "my rock"- presents for the first time the untold story behind one of the most sensational chapters in the history of the House of Windsor.

He traded the cobbled streets of a coal-mining village for a life inside gilded palaces. He was the favorite footman who formed a unique relationship with the Queen. He was hand-chosen as butler by the Princess of Wales.

He became her intimate confidant, whom she described as "the only man I can trust." He was accused of theft, then acquitted following the historic intervention of the monarch. He is the one man who can separate the myth from the truth of the Diana years.

The story of shocking secrets, absolute power, and unlikely alliances. The story behind previously unseen letters and photos and first-person insights. The story that will rewrite history and stand alone as the archive of Princess Diana's time as a Royal. The story of a faithful subject and his moving tribute to the Queen and the Princess he served.

Paul Burrell served the Royal family for twenty-one years after arriving at Buckingham Palace as an eighteen-year-old-footman, in 1976. Within a year, he was appointed as the Queen's personal footman, and he spent ten years by her majesty's side at all royal residences and on the Royal yacht Britannia. In 1987, he became butler to the Princess of Wales at their country residence, Highgrove, where he remained until the couple's separation, in 1992, when Diana requested that he move to Kensington Palace to serve as her Butler.
Out of all the servants, staff, and protection officers who ever worked for the Princess, Paul was the only one who remained loyally by her side until her death, in 1997. Following that tragedy, he was honored by the Queen with the Royal Victorian Medal in recognition of his loyalty and service to Diana. He was also appointed as the fundraising and events manager of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
